To describe this past year in one word, it would be optimization. Growth occurs in a variety of ways, but during this past year, we honed in on optimizing what we already have by continuing to help our existing clients scale their performance and optimizing how we, at AKvertise operate, which further strengthened relationships, improved efficiency and effectiveness, and increased the bottom line. When our clients win, as do we.
2020 threw us for a loop and 2021 continued staying on-brand by presenting us with new and further global and advertising industry challenges as the pandemic evolved and tech giants put us in the cross-hairs. While that was the case, the challenges that present themselves are what keep the digital advertising line of work exciting, creative, innovative, and far from stagnant, which is how we prefer it.
Like most things in life, that when you think you have a solid grasp on something, there is a shift and you need to pivot. After all, balance is a continuous dynamic state, and sometimes the weight of things on that existential scale can drastically change. We certainly were not alone as we headed into this sixth year of business and had to adjust at a moment’s notice as the globe was suddenly impacted by a pandemic that we had hoped and perhaps didn’t expect, would cause such a drastic effect on our health and our economy.
We are elated to announce that our social media advertising agency has won the award for Best Small Agency according to the US Social Media Awards.
AKvertise President, Akvile DeFazio has been named among the PPC Hero Top 25 Most Influential PPC Experts of 2020, for the second consecutive year.

Do you work as a freelancer or are you a small advertising agency owner, providing social media advertising, search engine advertising, or organic social media marketing services? If that sounds like you and you are also expecting (congratulations!) but you may not yet have a plan on how to handle your business and client accounts during your upcoming maternity or paternity leave, we have the solution for you.
And just like that, it has been five years since we took the leap. While they (who exactly are they?) do say it takes a village to raise a child and they’re quite right on that, it certainly also applies to building a business. We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the relationships we had going into this, the new ones we built, and all of them that we continue to nourish – thank you for your part in this.
What an interesting, challenging, exciting, and invaluable year of growth and knowledge it has been. As we celebrate our 3 year anniversary, I’m incredibly proud of what we have accomplished, from the clients we have the pleasure of working with to the positive impact we have on their business goals and the direction that AKvertise is heading in as we continue evolving as a business.
In what seems like a blink of an eye, another year has flown by. As you may have noticed, things look a little different around here. To help kick off entry into my third year of self-employment, I am extremely thrilled to share my new site, name, and brand with you. Meet AKvertise.
