While certifications are somewhat rare in my line of work, unless of course you work for an agency, they are available for Bing Ads, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics. I have yet to be asked by clients for such credentials, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to put my skills and knowledge to the test, learn about some new capabilities I haven’t yet used in these platforms, and work to achieve these certifications. This year has been a huge year of personal and professional growth and I’m striving to keep that trend going into 2016.
Does your organization or client offer free trials of their products or services? Of course, as an advertiser, your goal is to guide these users into converting as ongoing customers.
Last week, I had an absolute pleasure attending the State of Search conference for the first time in Dallas, which was hosted by DFWSEM and powered by Bing Ads. After taking a week to gather my thoughts, go through many pages of notes, and apply newly learned strategies to client campaigns, I’m feeling incredibly refreshed and inspired. The show provided an open forum for discussion amongst marketing peers and a highly effective and intimate learning environment. It was a delight seeing familiar faces and meeting many new ones as well!
After 3.5 years, I am wrapping up my time at Third Door Media. Wow, writing and saying it aloud still feels quite surreal and bittersweet. It has been an incredible ride and I will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented, creative, and driven team. This definitely isn’t goodbye; it’s see you around, my TDM family.
