Akvile (pronounced Ahk-vee-lah), Founder of AKvertise, was born in Lithuania, later emigrated to Toronto to escape the Cold War, grew up in upstate New York, lived in a few other amazing cities along the way, and planted roots in the beautiful city of Paso Robles in Central California.
She is the adventurous, glass half-full type, with a deep appreciation for life experiences (check out her bucket list) and creative marketing campaigns. An avid coffee consumer, experience collector, audiophile, traveler, painter, and full time sauce fiend, you can always find her searching for the perfect chicken wing outside of her home town of Buffalo, NY. She is constantly looking for new things to learn, experience, and improve upon. Life, after all, is a continual journey of conversion optimization.
As someone who lives for connecting people, making the connection between consumers and brands is what Akvile does best. She is a conversion driven online marketer with a strategic, future forward approach that encompasses a diverse combination of search and social pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and organic social media marketing expertise, particularly around events, products, services, and mobile apps.
Previously, Akvile was the Marketing and Advertising Operations Manager at Third Door Media, where she and her team provided marketing information, tools, and services to internet marketers. Through their online channels, they covered daily news and analysis on SEO, PPC, social, display, email, mobile, lead generation, and other areas of marketing. In addition, she helped organize a series of global conferences focusing on search marketing, social media, and marketing technology. Prior to Third Door Media, Akvile was the Search Engine Marketing Manager at Trupanion Pet Insurance and the eCommerce Marketing Manager at Evo in Seattle, an outdoor gear and fashion apparel online retailer.
